Basic Metal Smith Techniques - This is a metal working class for students to begin to familiarize themselves with basic techniques. Techniques will include marking, sawing, drilling, filing, cold connections and creating simple textures. Students will use readily available tools to create either a simple bracelet or pendant from copper sheet as a sample. Once these easy techniques are mastered, they can be used to complete a similar version in sterling silver sheet

Top piece shown is made of copper. The bottom items can be used as focal pieces as well. Pieces should be approximately 30mm. A variety of focal pieces will be available.
